Ugly Object
My beautiful object
1. Your attitude. Be different, be outstanding, be unique, be dominant, trust your capacities, trust your strength
2. Once you are done with number 1. Be friendly and respectful and learn how to get people’s attention before you talk to them.
3. When you talk to them make sure you have eye contact so you will be able to guide them through the task
4. Finally, your voice. Be clear and precise, use accurate language and avoid ambiguity, go straight to the point and be friendly, smile so they will trust you
One performance that it really liked was Noushin’s performance, even if we weren’t allowed to use any electronic device, the music added a great feeling of sadness and loneliness.
Her beautiful object was a normal glass and the ugly one was a broken glass, and her performance was about pouring tea in each glass. After having the first glass filled with tea, she started to stick band-aids to the broken glass in order to put each piece together, the meaning of that scene, in my opinion, was the creation of hope and health, after “healing” the broken glass, now she was able to use it, consequently she filled the “healed” with tea and the performance was over.
The background music was a classical piano piece, I don’t know the artist neither the name of the song, but it made perfect harmony with the context.
This one was Ali’s performance, I think it talks for itself.
Smiles are the only thing that we should care about, knowing that is one of the many expressions that someone can give. It’s a gift, a unique moment capable to make our day and stay in our minds for a long period.
Smile and be free my friend and you will find the way to avoid sadness and loneliness.

Unfortunately, it is the power that moves the world.
People understand the world based on beautiful things and there is no chance for ugliness. But since society is so diverse, I can say that beautiful is not the same for everyone and I’m going to give you my example of beauty and it’ll be very simple.
When I woke up in the morning I see the nature through the window and the first thing I want to feel is the fresh sunshine that gives life to all the little details out there, the colors, the contrasts and all the factors that, together, will make my day “wonderful”.
But it’s not only about days or nature, in general, beauty for me can be found everywhere. Even if it’s the ugliest thing in the world, depending on your perspective, beauty will come out and say “Hi” and then make you see everything in a completely different way.
Conclusion: what is beauty? I don’t know, I just have a blurred concept of it, but in my mind beauty is happiness.
